These are unique burial vaults excavated at many points at the foot of the Ambukuthi Hill. It is 27km from Kalpetta and 11km from Sultan Bathery. Ruins of Stone Age tools and pottery were found inside the Muniyaras. They are now displayed at the Wayanad Heritage Museum.
