'Soochi' is needle in Malayalam. The waterfall is so called because of its needle-like sprays of water. This three-step waterfall falls from a height of more than 200m. It is 22km south of Kalpetta, near Chooralmala. It is 43km from Sultan Bathery.The waterfall is also called Soochippara Waterfalls. The area has ideal spaces for rock climbing and trekking. Sometimes, you can spot deer and other animals near the pools of water.
